On the blocks around 19th, R and S NW, there are now so many no parking signs for private construction that whole sides of the block are useless to residents. One house has had a dumpster taking 2 spots for 6+ months.

While clearly the no parking signs serve a purpose, there needs to be some system to track how many have been issued for a block and a neighborhood and limit the number of spaces that can be blocked. Parking in this area is already tight and this has made it completely ridiculous. Many of the signs block parking 7am-7pm weekdays for an entire month, making it essentially useless for residents who have normal working hours.

Please do something about this. it's getting ridiculous.
