Per Parks & Recreation, they do not maintain this section of right of way. This ROW is the responsibility of the private property owner. This issue has been forwarded to Housing and Environmental for further review. An update will be posted once we hear back from them.

Carolina Pines is categorized as a street improvement project in the adopted Comprehensive Pedestrian Plan. In order to install sidewalks along Carolina Pines, the street needs to be updated to include curb and gutter. We don’t currently have any funds programmed to improve Carolina Pines at this time. However, the City is in the process of developing a 10-year Transportation Action Plan that will identify and prioritize the City’s transportation needs. An inspector investigated and initiated a public nuisance case on 6/5/2013 with deadline of 6/17/2013. He will follow-up to ensure this issue is resolved.
