  The owner of this and approximately 20 other car runs a car sales business from his apartment at 700 E24th Street. If you contact the owner and ask if they have a tenant by the name of Dave M. they can give you his contact information. I do not want to put this person’s full name on this public forum. He uses the surrounding streets as his personal showroom for the vehicles and is often seen showing them to prospective buyers. My understanding is that he works for an estate company and sells them on their behalf. This neighborhood is notoriously bad for parking and a huge part of the problem is that this man has at times 30 cars taking up a large percentage of the parking spaces. Yes, at one point he had 30 cars lined up on the surrounding streets. He would leave the cars for two weeks and move them almost exclusively only when street sweeping days would come around. During the pandemic when there has been no sweeping, he has left cars in the same parking space for months at a time. Today was the first day of street sweeping and it is astonishing at how many cars got tickets because people are all working from home and one man has been allowed to take up so much limited parking to run his business. This needs to be addressed ASAP. People have submitted requests for his cars but I am going to give you all the information you need to put an end to this. Please note he also switches license plates around on the car in what I assume is an attempt to avoid tickets. Furthermore, I don’t understand how NONE of his cars got ticketed today but everyone else around him did. It has long been suspected that there is some agreement with him and “someone” for his cars to not get ticket. For years his cars parked on sweeping sides of the street don’t get tickets while all the ones around him does.
  Here are all the cars and locations that I am aware of. I will submit a request for each one with this same information. None of us can afford to get these tickets in these financially trying times. Thank you in advance for your help to end this 15+ year problem.
