Is there some sort of City ordinance regarding junk on a porch. I think there is a man living on the porch actually.

Thanks for reporting. This is being referred to the Inspections Department - Zoning Division. When they have responded an update will be posted.

Just one example of this constant parking on the sidewalk. If the city is now paying to fix the sidewalks I think this homeowner should pay for the damage they have done.

The car in the photo is an example of folks who live at this address (104 Duncan st) parking in the side walk. Since the city has invested tax payer money by issuing bonds to repair many if the cities sidewalks this is disgraceful and the
Property owner should have to pay to repair the sidewalk!!!

This evening the person living in this home was sanding the paint off a car in the front yard!! This is not good for the environment or appropriate for a residential neighborhood. There are also oil stains all over the ground from the repairs being conducted in the front yard. please do something about this.

Yet again, no regard for the people that want to use the side walk not to mention the damage this causes.

An inspector visited the property and inquired about a business being run out of the home. The person she spoke with verified that some work was being done on the owner’s car a couple of weeks ago and that the owner’s grandchildren are at the house on a regular basis, but there is not a business operating out of the home. The inspector did not see any evidence of a business being run from the home and found no zoning violations at this location. If parking on the sidewalk is an issue, please contact the police at the non-emergency number of 919-831-6311 and an officer will be dispatched to address that issue.
