Growing garbage pile from illegal encampment blocking sidewalk on Oak St sidewalk (between 5th & 6th). It needs to be removed. Oakland has the money to fund horsey-patrol vanity project for OPD, but can not keep sidewalks clear & clean. Horses will give illegal encampments a run for their money on who can drop the biggest load on the sidewalk. Yippee ki-yay.

Perhaps the horses could be trotted out to some of these encampments, to deposit their loads in the middle of the night. The sites wouldn't smell any worse than they do already. Even if they did, the ACLU would argue on behalf of the defecation, proclaiming that "It's not a crime to be a horse."
