The other part of this problem is slowing the traffic down Park Blvd. Particularly in the morning, many cars are rushing to 3rd Ave.

Union Park on the estuary has become a filthy homeless encampment and center for trash and obviously stolen bicycles business. Can't someone in City Hall do something about this mess? Tried calling police, parks department, public works, nobody does anything. City spent millions to create this park about 10 years ago, including beautiful installation art, statue of Susan Anthony, etc. Sad what's happened to it. No civic pride here.
