Deskripsyon

This is an extremely busy, congested crossing and is located near a number of high-traffic businesses. It is important that a pedestrian light be installed here. I have a small child and find it beyond frustrating to have to sacrifice my own safety in order to simply attempt to encourage drivers to stop for us as is their legal obligation.

I wish people would state things honestly without all the "tremendous needs" and "sacrificing" of safety. The top of Maple Leaf is a sleepy little part of our neighborhood and not a death trap. We all want to improve things, but exaggerating and arbitrarily throwing in that somebody has a child is counterproductive.

I highly encourage people to use designated crossing areas with the white markings.
I use them diligently as I'm usually walking with my dogs and I've trained them to understand crosswalks verses regular lookngo corners.
