Description
When the light stops benning traffic, cars from both directions generally turn at the same time as pedestrians use the crosswalk. This creates a dangerous situation for the pedestrians, since the cars turn quickly to get out of the intersection and onto benning, but cannot see the pedestrians well. A left turn signal may be helpful, but it should be looked at. This intersection was among the top ten most dangerous pedestrian intersections in DC, and many young children and seniors cross here.
