Description
a Cox construction dumpster has been sitting here for 2 months unused for construction projects. It has accumulated residential trash illegally dumped into it and dog refuse bags as well. It smells, is unsightly, and the city doesn't care. I don't know who has the money to just rent a construction dumpster and let it sit for months unused, but I can tell you it isn't the owner of 4001 Fauquier. Please call whoever owns or rents this and have it removed. There is no way it has a permit. This is easy money for the city, since they are hyping up how they will be enforcing illegal dumping codes in the press these days. Check for a permit on this thing. I bet it doesn't exist. It has been there over 2 months and is violating abandoned property code, and illegal dumping code.

I have posted about a tall fence at 1422 Laburnum, have not received a response.
Check out that fence...
And, Mike, that scofflaw still has trailers on Monticello at Newport. And that is after THE POLICE have been called directly at least 6 times this year. Ridiculous.

The squeaky wheel gets things done, calling and continued reporting will get things moving most of the time.
Fencing and dumpster issues are better handled through RVA one on the city website. The city is notorious for closing issues on see click fix before they are dealt with. As far as the fence goes, report that to the building inspection department as a code violation.

I will call Inspector Tuesday, per your advice.
I really wonder why I bother with this. WTF!
As to that trailer, the police have been there...
I may just have to sit back and watch the broken window theory play out...and wonder how golden that thing must be for the cops to keep giving a pass.
