Please put a stop sign here. Many small children play and bike on Catherine St. Cars whiz past at 40-55 mph on Maple, probably coming off of Rt. 50. Extremely dangerous.

Agreed. We walk down Catherine St daily, crossing Maple Ave, and several times we have had to stop dead in our tracks because the cars speeding up the street have complete and total disregard for pedestrians. A stop sign is a very cheap and effective way to control this.

It is a dangerous corner. I cross this intersection regularly and often see cars speed up, accelerate around the corner - I think because its perfectly designed for fun driving, not safe driving

We have stopped at the Catherine st stop signed looked down maple, pulled out toward broadway only to be narrowly missed by a speeding car as it roared around the curve on maple. A stop sign would certainly prevent a tragedy at this intersection with all the children that now reside on Catherine st.

Very dangerous corner for both pedestrians and drivers. I've had many close calls at this intersection both in my car and walking with my young child. There are also no side walks where Maple Ave changes to North Circular. This forces people to walk in the street, yet another reason why traffic needs to be slowed down by a stop sign.
