Descrição

The sign that is supposed to be in the middle of the road telling cars to stop for pedestrians has been once again pushed to the side of the road. It is a disgrace that no one cares about this intersection as the cars go flying by at top speed with no regard to pedestrians. Spend the money to put a light there or have a cop or someone checking those signs. This is inexcusable and makes walking in this town a complete hazard.

The HCA has gotten a couple of comments from members (neighborhood residents) indicating that they are concerned about the same thing (e.g. moving signs and speed of cars on this road.)

Key Foods is also on the southeast corner of Jersey Avenue and Third Street so there are probably more people attempting to cross Jersey Avenue at this spot to get to Key Foods.

These signs are almost 100% useless. They are really only good for pointing at when a driver nearly runs you over. We have one near me at Grove and Mercer that no driver pays attention to and frequently makes its way out of the intersection. I wish the city would just install real stop signs.
