Ideally, the lanes on Spruce St should be one for each direction (Left, Straight, Right). Too many times i've seen two cars turning left and nearly crashing into eachother when trying to merge.

Ideally, however there are two turning arrows lights for both the last left lane and the middle lane suggesting both lanes are for left turns along with the arrows painted on the ground.... Which honestly I think they use cheap paint because the seem to wash away in less then a few months.
lm thinking perhaps the plan was to make those two lanes...one to continue down six street and the other for rt 1 north.
I think turning guidelines might help from drives crashing into one another.

I agree that turning lane guides may be a good solution in this area. Unfortunately, after tonight, our line painting vendor is done for the Calendar Year. (We cannot add this line painting to tonight's work). So, this is an issue I will keep on my radar for next Spring's line painting. Given that timeframe, I will temporarily close this item.
