Are we just waiting for the limb to fall on a car or a person?

I noticed that this has been archived. Did anyone from the Urban Forestry department ever look at this tree when it had leaves and one could see the dead limbs?

This was reported over a year ago. The large dead limbs are still there waiting to fall on someone or something.

This is still an issue! During our recent snow, a large part of the limb fell into the middle of the intersection. Several neighbors moved the large limb off the street. A wire was knocked down but has been fixed. The bulk of the dead limb still exists on the tree. 1 1/2 years after I first reported this. Hello?

the city of raleigh seem to be missing.... has any one seen them around lately

They actually came a week or two ago and cut down the major problem limbs. They said that because it is a tree on its way out, they will check on it yearly. The person I spoke to said that they are understaffed.
