I have witnessed multiple accidents at this intersection of 16th and Independence. For cars going North to South on 16th it's nearly impossible to see cars coming down 16th, combined with the fact that they are moving fast. A light would be hugely beneficial as 16th is a major thruway.

This is an issue at all times of day and I've seen accidents there multiple days of the week.
