There has been an issue with the turning arrow's at the intersection of Eaglewood Ave and entrance and exit into East Mecklenburg High School. You literally have to take your own life into your hands to try and make the left hand turn into East Mecklenburg parking lot to pick up and drop off your children. The turn arrow NEVER I MEAN NEVER COMES ON when it SHOULD ESPECIALLY DURING BUSY SCHOOL HOURS SO PARENTS AND CHILDREN ARE NOT IN HARMS WAY TRYING TO DROP THEIR CHILDREN OFF OR PICK THEIR CHILDREN UP FROM SCHOOL!! This turning arrow should come on in the morning hours for drop off's and in the afternoon hours for pick ups. I am certain that the people that reside on Eaglewood Ave are just as frustrated not being able to make the left turn into their neighborhood as the turning arrow never comes on for them either! This has got to become a priority to be fixed ASAP! There has been many teachers and students hurt in terrible accidents here with this turning arrow! What is it going to take to get this fixed a fatality?....And if so it better not be myself or my family that get's hit ! There is a turning arrow signal as a citizen of Mecklenburg I would like to know why this light in front of a school is not operating properly especially when this is the ENTRANCE AND EXIT TO A SCHOOL?? LET ME NOT EVEN FORGET TO MENTION HOW TERRIBLE PEOPLE SPEED THROUGH THE SCHOOL ZONES IN THIS AREA THE POLICE COULD FILL UP TICKET BOOKS IN ONE MORNING OR AFTERNOON HERE!!!!! THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN AT 2:20PM SCHOOL DISMISSES AT 2:15PM I AM TRYING TO TURN INTO THE SCHOOL!
