This issue has been dealt with time and again at the intersection of 18th & Kearney and 18th & Lawrence. Contact Corey Griffin the former ANC 5A-10 commissioner who is now working as Chief of Staff for Council member McDuffie. Mr. Griffin had DDOT come out and perform traffic studies and to see whether an additional stop sign could be added. DDOT did not feel this was needed based on their study. I have found it is hard to see what is coming down the Rhode Island Avenue. It is also hard to cross the streets at any of the intersections on 18th Street between Rhode Island Avenue and Monroe Street.

I too would love to see this addressed. People reach near highway speeds on Kearny, I see it every morning. There are kids here.
