This situation with bags in the median at 4608 Brook Road has been formally reported to Richmond Solid Waste Management via High Priority #189221 Trash/Bulk Pick-up so that proper inspection and handling can take place accordingly. Normally, there are many times when persons who do Neighborhood Cleanups may leave the bags in the median for collection by Solid Waste

These bags are NOT bags of trash left by people doing neighborhood clean-ups. I've picked up MANY of them over the past year or more and they are small bags from Wawa or Food Lion or Walgreens, tied up and filled with all kinds of household, fast food and personal trash. They are obviously being tossed out of vehicles and I would be willing to bet it is the same person or few people who do it on a regular basis. It happens every week and they are left there for long periods unless someone reports them to See Click Fix.
