This light in front of the pergoda, and another one near it have been out since they were first installed shortly before the first Oakland Marathon race. I have reported it to PWC Call Center web reporting, and to Oakland Park maintenance crews working in front of these lights several times. Though the PWC Call Center generally does a good job, this issue is an exception. Not once has the City even contacted me to find out more. I am willing to meet the crew there to identify them if that is the reason. Or, if the City wants, I can mark them somehow. It also raises a general question to be resolved: there are too many poles without numbers, including all the new ones on the 12 St renovation. Am willing to help number them, with volunteers, if the City needs that kind of help. Finally, these two have never worked since first installed. Presumably someone billed the city or reported to the city that they work and got paid. Though small scale, public funds are still involved in paying for something not properly done, and the City Auditor should audit these invoices.
