I so agree with this post! It is absolutely ridiculous. On Foster street, the Yale bus (I think it is the Orange line) never misses to stop traffic driving in both directions because it drives in the middle of the road and no one can pass it.

I agree with this as well. These buses also have a lot to contribute to the city's traffic problems. Because the traffic lights are not sychronized for optimum traffic flow, they make things even worse not only by stopping in the middle of the street, they also drive way below the speed limit. It's like riding behind a slow moving amusement park ride designed for little kids!

These busses are obnoxious. This is especially so because they deny townies the service. Though I grew up in New Haven, other cities I've studied in did not bar bus access to residents.
If they are going to use OUR streets, they should not deny the good working folks of New Haven a ride.

Methinks these posts are moderated to omit critical opinions.

The drivers of these buses or vans also don't stop at stop signs there is going to be an accident on the corner of cottage st and Livingston st .i know this because I was one of them they didn't stop for what is it going to take to fix this problem

Why isn't this corrected yet they have no consideration for anyone , example willow street they just park every nite in front of this house and hold up traffic right by a light and wait for the person or people to come out be out side waiting for the bus don't let them wait for you,,,,And there will be an accident at these stop because cars have to go around the damn bus which they cant see the cars in front only when they pull out DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS
