My name is Kevin Scarpati and I am also a member of the Meriden City Council. I heard of your complaint through a constituent who read it on this site. I also would like to thank Holly for forwarding the message to other councilors as well. I believe I was told it was at Ive's Park? To confirm, I visited the park today; however, could not find these markings. I am assuming they are on the playscape and I can certainly forward this information over to parks dept. to address the issue. Appears to be crude Iron Cross spraypainted on the trees

I wanted to update you with regard to the markings on the Ive's Park playscape. You will be happy to find that I personally went to the park yesterday, spent a little time, and painted each of the blue poles that had been tagged. Please keep me posted if this occurs again in the future, I hope you enjoy the use of the playground! Sorry this was not addressed sooner. Thank you for your concern and patience.
