This is still an issue that needs attention!

This has not been addressed and continues to be an issue.

Here we are in the "snowbird" season again and the problems at the intersection continue. The frequency of someone acting like they are turning right, but actually coming across or even turning left is incredible. Someone should set up a web cam on this intersection for the next month or so. Traffic safety will not believe their eyes!

In reply to SC Guest, that is why there is so much confusion at that intersection, the angle which the roads are, it isn't your normal 90 degree angle. You legally have to pull to the right whether you are going straight or turning left from Superstition so you can see oncoming traffic fully. I know it sounds dumb, but thats the law, and to reinforce my belief that that is the law, I see police cars doing the swing to the right before they cross the highway. I just cross my fingers when I see someone at the stop sign across from me and I want to turn. It is sometimes better to go straight than try to turn because people just don't know what to do, "do I turn before the car over there cuz it is my turn to go?" or "or do they believe you never turn in front of a car whether it is your turn to go?". Either way, turning can be a chance of getting the other driver ANGRY, or play "who can get the furthest into the intersection before one of us turns?" It is a horrible intersection thats for sure.

It IS difficult to see to the right at that bad angle, and I too have see the police do the "pull to the right but go across" thing, but I don't think it's "a law" that one is supposed to. I just think that they don't want to (or can't) turn their necks more than 90 degrees! So. how do we get a light put in there?

This intersection STILL needs a light. These vehicles that go thru here as if they are turning right, but then go straight across or even turn LEFT, are confusing and hazardous to other drivers. Don't the police see these clowns? The police station is less than 1/4 mile from this intersection!!!
