Lead Code Enforcement Officer Irish Gardner advised the following:

"On Tuesday April 17, I responded to 1309 Garfield Street. All vehicles were properly parked. What the complainant is describing as a front porch is an improved surface-no violation."

I'm sorry but there is a huge driveway and there is a front porch - you have to drive on the front yard grass to get to the improved surface which is at the front door. You can try to make it legal but they park at the front door after driving over the grass - I would call that a front porch

Yet again Code Enforcement is making excuses for a ghetto resident rather than "enforce". This is a prime example as to why Hollywood is going down. Where is our City Commissioner? How does she feel about this? Is it appropriate to park at your front door/porch on S Southlake as well?
