City of New Haven assigned this issue to Homeless Services Coordinator

Please read note above. Homeless services did not take care of this last time, nor should they. This is a pile of garbage in a park which happens to include a tent. There is no homeless person involved here.

What I don't appreciate is that the issue was closed, but nothing was actually done to remediate the problem

I was able to review the prior request. #15810435 Both seem to be marked in the old soccer field between Edgewood/Chapel by Yale and the description suggests by the skate park. Not sure if this contributed to the confusion. As indicated in the comments in the prior thread the City uses an outreach first approach to cleanups for multiple reasons including to adhere to current caselaw.

We will ensure that 1) the location noted on map and that in description have both been reviewed and 2) ensure cleanup is properly triggered when reviews completed.
