Drivers routinely use the alley behind the homes on the east side of the 1300 block of 22nd Street NW to avoid the light at N Street NW and 22nd Street NW. Many drive at excessively high speeds. In addition, it impedes the ability of those of us who live on the 1300 block of 22nd Street NW to get to our houses. It's particularly problematic during rush hour but is a constant problem.
