this location 2311 E somerset st is owned by CONRAIL..... from Richmond St to Tulip st , there is trash, needles, furniture, and god knows what else .... if we residents have to maintain our properties, then so so CONRAIL...
Penndot owns under 95 at somerset st and trash is thrown there everyday by people walking by. they just dump there trash bags there also. It's unbelievable!! Needles, emply plastic bags, condoms, its disgusting!!
I totally agree! And I am tired of someone just dumping their old TV's in front of my house on the corner at Tulip and Somerset. Also, the trash from those who are standing at the Bus Stop on the same corner. This area has trash everywhere. What can be done about it? Does reporting problems on SeeClickFix mean that something will be done about it by our city officials?
The problem continues. On Tulip, between Lehigh and Somerset, in that tunnel (under bridge) there is always trash, trash and more trash. People leave big trash bags, furniture, whatever they please there. It's disgusting. Also, on the Somerset st. side of that same train bridge (for lack of a better name), there continues to be plenty of trash up and down the street. Who wants to live around such a mess? It's horrible!
I don't want this to be cleaned up once, but on a continual basis. There is also a bus stop on the corner of Tulip and Somerset where people constantly leave trash. What happened to a trash can on a city block? What can be done to get this changed? Is there a neighborhood association that covers this area? I have not been here long, but this mess is really frustrating.
