So, since the city is going to make sure that abandoned homes are taken care of so the ones around them do not lose value as fast, these get to stay untouched. Upon looking into the litigation issue on this property, the developer has gone bankrupt; as it states with the court. If this is true then who steps in to maintain the property, weeds, trees growing out of the fences, fences looking like they are about ready to fall over, etc.

I am in total agreement concerning the unfinished townhomes. The city of Rio Rancho has many responsibilities to their residents that are not being attended to throughout the city. The unfinished and run-down townhome complex continues to bring this area down. It is unsightly and unacceptable that the residents have to deal with this nonsense. Rio Rancho is in my opinion an undesireable place ti live. I have been living here for three years and believe me , when I am able to sell my house with minimal loss, I will move away from Rio Rancho. The city officials lack a vision for this city . The city officials however do have complete tunnel vision for Rio Rancho! I am displeased in many ways with this city.

Wild idea that will benefit the city - city takes over the project, residents buy "shares" to fund it ($10 per share), when completed shareholders get profits based on number of shares. Project done - mess cleaned up and the community can be proud of their accomplishment.
