Drivers taking the right on red from Ruden St. to Campbell Ave ignore the Walk signal (or don't even bother to stop). More than once I have almost been hit as someone comes speeding around the corner while I am crossing in the crosswalk while the Walk signal is on.

First Ave Gardians (Martida)
We had a similar problem on First ave, WH.. Look up "Excessive speeding on First Ave". About 25 residents on First ave got involved with the police & WH town hall to crack down on the "First Ave Speedway".
The speeding and running stop signs etc on First Ave have been significantly better.. The key was contacting the police after every speeding incident with car related info, speeding testimonials and eye witness reports.. The WH Police were right on it and in fact wrote 40 tickets over the first weekend they were checking the situation out..
I hear you on the cross walk issue, no one should be in that much of a hurry to not stop at a cross walk.. Please report cross walk runners to the police the next time you see that happen, it really works.
