The mattresses were put out for bulk pickup. instructions from 311 were to leave at curb. They have not been picked up, and in the meantime, neighbors have started adding ever increasing amounts of garbage to the pile. This system of picking things up in"10 business days" is broken - by the time the city finally takes away the original problem, there's usually a massive pike of garbage!
