Massive pile of debris blocking the sidewalk and street. Looks like someone dumbed an entire house here. The problem of illegal dumping persist with no real solution from our City officials. A suggestion would be removing Red-light camera from intersections that are disproportionately located in poorer neighborhoods & placing them in areas known for illegal dumping.

what about licensing the junk trunks which are seen everywhere in WOakl, how about offering a monthly bulk pickup instead of 1x a year. How about offering an incentive to call the city & schedule a junk pickup like a $50 to $100. grocery store card. It's got to be cheaper than DPW overtime

yes, there are only so many main thoroughfares or choke points coming into west oakland. we should start there with cameras. Also, to think that someone would notice when they hear someone dumping a couple hundred pounds of trash in front of their house in the middle of the night.

The city has to want to do something about the problem in order for change to occur. I have found a driver license of someone who lived at the same address as contractor in a pile if dumped construction debris. No one wanted to do a thing about it.
