A number of See Click Fix issues got lost in the system and are just now being recovered. Our apologies for how long it took to respond to this!
Thanks for reporting. I have referred this to the City’s Housing and Environmental Inspections Division. When they have responded I will update this issue.
This is one of several posts on this property and letters have also been sent to City Council members and to individual COR Depts trying to get some remedy for neighbors. COR apparently sent a notice to the owner well over a month ago (maybe 2 months ago?) and the post above is a followup because the property is still a mess. Research shows that it is in violation of at least 3 weed codes (not to mention other issues). The weeds and grass are at least chest high in the back yard and that high but more matted in the front. It is our understanding that the owners had 10 days to comply with the COR notice (that would've been "up" several weeks ago). In addition, this is not the first notice on this property (which I believe makes it subject top a fine as well as an abatement). This is a blight on the neighborhood and a hazard to neighbors!
This one has been turned over to a contractor for abatement. The contractor will complete the work and a lien will be placed on the property for the costs. The inspector will make sure this takes place. Thanks for reporting.
