Thanks for reporting this (I 311'd it earlier this evening). I've been bothered by this- today my partner and I were carrying groceries walking east on Bryn Mawr and had to turn back and walk west to cross at Glenwood because the water was so bad. The sewer drain must be blocked.
It hasn't rained all day today, but the small lake submerging the corner of Wayne and Bryn Mawr is still going strong. The city really needs to get on this. It forces pedestrians to walk out into the street, which multiplied over a whole day creates a lot of potential accidents (particularly for older folks).
This buildup of water continues to plague residents near the intersection of Wayne and Bryn Mawr. The City of Chicago owes it to the taxpayers to solve this problem ASAP.
