There is no eastbound curb cut or ramp at this crosswalk, and the step up to the curb is higher than normal. I see the elderly or those with strollers struggling.
One reason the curb is so high is because the street has been widened on this side into a sweeping right hand turn lane. Exactly what we don't need on 24th st: encouragement for cars to barrel around the corner, and a longer crossing for pedestrians. Instead this should be built with bulb outs like those installed recently at 24th and Bartlett.
