    This past Sunday night massive rains made a tree fall on Richmond Blvd. requiring PGE to come out for a downed power line. Three PGE support utility trucks drove into the green space across from 3070 Richmond Blvd. Not sure why. All three got stuck in the mud and finally freed themselves after turning the park area into a monster truck rally and digging large craters and rows of earth and mud with their tires. The park is now currently unusable for recreation.

    Large homeless encampment at Mosswood park (as we all know).
    Today there is a full size propane gas grill set up on the Broadway side of the park. This is a major fire hazard, please remove .

    The pedestrian audible signal of the crossing of Hawthorne and crossing of Broadway is very laud and almost non-stop at night. Please only activate the signal when people are actually crossing or turn down the signal volume to not disturb residents living close by.

    There is a large homeless encampment in Mosswood Park. It is right next to my child's pediatrician's office. My child also plays in that park and frequents the community center multiple times per week. This morning, there was a sign that said "Beware of Dog". This does not seem like a safe place for the public, specifically children and families.

    If the city cannot find alternative space for the encampment dwellers in Mosswood Park, the city needs to do a better job of keeping the area clean. Trash everywhere, piles and piles. There are now not one but two private cars that appear to be permanently parked on the sidewalk behind the amphitheater. The amphitheater is quite literally trashed (see pic). There was a knife fight yesterday that broke out in front of the Kaiser Pediatrics building that overlooks this mess. Reportedly it was encampment dwellers. Literally children witnessing the inability of adults to keep them safe and traumatizing them. Shame on our elected leaders to fail their community so poorly.

    We have increasingly experienced big trucks going on 29th street- per city of Oakland map there is a truck restriction
    (Confirmed by city staffer) but that does not stop some semi drivers. There is a development further down on 29th st and routinely trucks go there.

    We are afraid for the safety of our kids - I no longer exit from the car on the driver side for fear of not been run over.

    Please help- maybe a sign down at the intersection 29th and Harrison, and 29th and Broadway could help. Anything really- just the other day a truck sped by and I got some debris in my face.. not the Oakland I love..

    Many thanks for taking this request seriously. I speak for two other parents with elementary and high school kids living on this street.

    There is a large camper and 2 vehicles that are up on the medium under the overpass on Richmond Blvd having a camp out....like this is Mayberry. It was too dark to take a picture and they were milling about so I didn't' stop. They are parked on top of the the creek opening. People will start walking their dogs or heading to work soon ( daylight ) and they don't look to be very neighborly, if you get my drift.
