    Pulling out of MacCormack Drive on to Potuccos Ring Rd is treacherous as the over grown weeds and foliage obstruct the view of on coming traffic that travels WAY too fast for the road conditions. I think the town crew needs to address this.

    The town government seems unable to combat blight in our community. While surrounding cities and towns have local regulations enacted to protect property values and the potential health impacts of blight, Wolcott is with out effective tools. The town leaders have shown little interest in addressing this issue based on the lack of effective action I have witnessed to date. If you have blight in your neighborhood please speak up so we can get our governments attention to resolve this problem.

    Some one pushed all the snow from their driveway onto the corner of Coach Dr and MacCormack Dr making for a very dangerous intersection. Recently an ambulance needed to get thru and had a very hard time negotiating the corner Hopefully the town yard crew can clear it before someone gets hurt!

    The traffic and speed has picked up on the road that past 6 months. Car are constantly driving through at 50+ mph. The posted limit is 25. Combine the speeding with no sidewalks, lots of pedestrians and school bus stops along the road and we are counting down to an accident. Can we have speed humps installed to help ensure people driving through Wolcott adhere to the limit?

    There are multiple trees in the are that can use trimming. Branches expand to the sidewal and to the streets neighbors have attempted to break branches off and it is damaging the tree or creating a potencial hazard for pedestrian.

  • Clark Street And Woodtick Rd. Wolcott, CT - New Haven County
    After exiting Wolcott Road onto Woodtick, then taking a left onto Clark Street from Woodtick Road, you can't see the speeding cars coming around the corner to make a safe left hand turn. The trees need to be trimmed back around the entire curve of the road to improve the line of site. The recent state reconstruction of the road has created an unsafe driving hazard.
