Intersection 29th & SW Topeka Blvd on Topeka Blvd. By Spangles rest. The road is all pot holes! Please repair.

    Then

17th & SW topeka Blvd near the gas station. So many pot holes. Going North pass the business that says they fix alignments for like two to $300 for going, and all the potholes that are right in front of their business. Please fix those potholes. I have replaced so many tires and I’ve also replaced my front suspention parts. Now I have new car & I hear the parts coming loose already I will probably need new suspension parts within the next 12 months going over all these potholes that never get fixed. Please repair them. I’m sure that I am probably the 599 person to request to fix these streets. PLEASE REPAIR ROADS.

Where did our bike lane go now it’s just cars. Illegally stopped blocking traffic and causing cyclist to maneuver around them. Daytime parking enforcement supervisor please place a parking enforcement officer, or even better automated enforcement in the form of a camera on this block.

A homeless person is living under an awning here and urinating consistently on the sidewalk making the sidewalk unusable. I don't mind homeless sleeping there (as they have been for years, even though it's not ideal) but defecating in a high-traffic area is just unacceptable, unsanitary, and creating a public health hazard. I have to avoid this side of the sidewalk every day while trying to enter my building.

Intersection may require a traffic light for rush hour traffic control. Intersection currently only has a pedestrian crossing and a stop sign on Audubon Street. During rush hour, I have observed impatient drivers on Audubon Street nearly hitting pedestrians (including students from the schools on Audubon street) to get through breaks in traffic on Orange Street. A traffic light for rush hour traffic control would allow for better traffic management here.

Watched four drivers run a red light today at high speed. Traffic calming/street narrowing is needed. The least the city can do is stop making people walking cross so many lanes when drivers would rather kill them then wait for their turn!

I am a resident at 360 State St. and I regularly use my bicycles to get around the town. Currently, I have to store my bike in my apartment as there is a lack of options for secure bike parking. This makes it difficult to carry the bike in the lift every time I have to use it. The apartment does provide an indoor bike storage facility but charges $50/month for a spot. Even thought there are a lot of bike parking racks, they lack a sense of security and I feel there is a genuine risk of bikes being vandalized if I park them for long without a properly secured bike storage spot. I know there are secure bike storage facility at the Union Station for $10/month which sits unused. Is it possible to move them here at the location marked in the image? I would be happy to pay a year's rent in advance if the city is willing to move or make a similar facility available at this location. I also know a lot more people in the building would be interested in renting out a bike storage unit at a lower cost than what the apartment provides. Looking forward to hearing back on this idea. Thanks!

Parked vehicle in front of the Omni in the left lane for 20mins during rush hour. THE OMNI HAS A DROP OFF CIRCLE. But this car just sat blocking traffic and causing cars the swerve into the cyclists on the mostly blocked right lane. Daytime parking enforcement supervisor, get out there and supervise some enforcement.
  • Neighborhood Music School Preschool & - Town_Green
Several of the parents who have kids enrolled at the Neighborhood Music School park their vehicles (without handicap tags) in the handicap space that is in front of the school, leaving people who need to use the space (people with handicap hangtags) unable to park there. Sometimes they are park for extended periods of time. It will be good if police officers monitors the area, daily, specially between the hours of 5-6 pm, which is the time when most of the infractions occur.
In addition, no ticketing these people is a loss of revenue for the city of New Haven.
Thank for your attention & your good service to the community.

What are we even doing here. There is sooo much hazardous double parking on elm. If we can’t enforce road safety in our city center why do we have a daytime parking enforcement supervisor.

The objects in the background of this photo - near where I twisted an ankle this morning - are students. The thing behind them is a school. Nice people asked nicely for two years. That didn't work.

This is also a Public Plaza. New Haven Code of Ordinances "43.1-11 - Standards of accessibility for persons with disabilities.
All public plazas shall conform to applicable laws pertaining to access for persons with disabilities regardless of whether the Building associated with the public plaza is existing or new."

One or more employees of the City of New Haven violated that ordinance by violating Federal law and risking the safety of school children.
