SAFETY ISSUE. Large tree roots cross both N&S bound lanes of 1000 S. Border Ave (200ft from Border/10th St intersection) causing cars and motorcycles serious hazard and collision probability. Vehicles traveling in both directions swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid large tree root bumps. Heavy traffic area at 35mph (opposing speedx2 =75mph collisions). Motorcycles loose stability. Also possible damage to vehicles suspension. This IMO an important SAFETY issue. If not corrected will cause serious consequences. IMO.

Water seeps from cracks in street near manhole. I’ve noticed it for months. Dries in times during summer months but leaks when there’s Rain and no rain for long period of time. Also, Adobe has a crack that runs the center of Adobe from Manzanita to sage that’s gotten worse over the years that runs drain line location. The crack is over 1/4 mile long. Long crack may be from same issue as leak by manhole at 1991 Adobe.

Tennis courts have installed lights but no way to turn them on Once had a timer to use tennis courts at night and have all installed hardware to make this happen as it was working long ago but timer no longer there. The lights for the courts on mangular work great but courts are always full making the need for these lights to work again. Yes, there is a sign outside the courts that courts close at dusk but would like the option to use once evenings get earlier. I have called and was given voicemail for DWP desk that's in charge of this but no reply. Thank you, Brian Curry

Boarder Park Playground Tube-slide has been boarded-up/broken for months now. Have talked to Park workers and said the park is no longer going to be funded for repairs (also other things like benches and the bbq) like the slide and the only solution was to remove the slide and block off where it would is attached. My son and many other kids play there after being at school (John Adams Elem) and use the park during weekends. PLEASE repair slide for my 6yo son and many others who play there. I understand $ goes into a gen-fund (I think) and gets used for other things, but I hope this small thing will not cost to fix for our kids. Also please don't take away the park benches and bbq there, we use them especially during holidays. Thank you, Brian Curry 714 4880937.
