I posted this once already and a city official closed it after commenting that I was wrong and gave me NO opportunity to reply . I believe David Leys told my friend that there was a hand rail at this location and that it was stolen and the city did NOTHING to replace it. When I checked I do see a hole for a hand rail in the top step. My original post said that my elderly friend fell on these steps and there needs to be a hand rail.

My elderly friend fell down these stairs. Originally I understand there was a hand rail that was stolen and the city failed to replace it. As you can see by the slope of these stairs, there needs to be a hand rail.

Could you have someone please trim the tree in front of 28 Vernon Ave. Every time I go by it I almost rip the antenna off my truck. It should not be hanging this low into the street. I do not believe. Thank you

The traffic sign at the corner of Elm Street and Washington Street is bent over. It is bent inward just enough so you smack your head on it. I don't know why these signs are allowed at this height on the sidewalk???

Across the street from 115 Washington Street the new fence that runs East and West for a short distance, the bottom pipes have come apart and need to be repaired.

Why are used dog poop pick up bags put on the side walk outside 94 Washington Street. Where is the neighborhood association and the city?

The intersection at the corner of Memorial Boulevard and Bellevue Ave. is very dangerous. All lights should be turning red at the same time (ALL STOP) with no right turn on red when people are to cross. When going east on Memorial Boulevard and turning right onto Bellevue to head south on Bellevue the people that are crossing Bellevue have the cross signal and the people driving are turning right (South on Bellevue) when the people are in the cross walk. Very dangerous. Everyone has been sitting at Empire Tea and watched as folks almost get hit. The lights need to be fixed. The city needs to demand the state fix the lights.

The vegetation (WEEDS) in front of The Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina is a disgrace to the city of Newport. Enough is enough! lets do something with it.

The bike stand at 16 Bellevue Ave is almost ripped out of the sidewalk.

The north tree at 102 Washington Street needs to be trimmed. It is hanging so low it hits you in the face when you walk on the sidewalk. The people that live there trimmed the south tree but left the north tree hanging low.

Please repair the top to the garbage can that is at the corner next to the water fountain so that people can put the garbage IN the can and it is not all over the sidewalk every day. The top has been smashed in for weeks now. I guess Waste Management and the City Parks Dept don't notice it.

At the corner of Broadway and Ayrault Street some dope has left about 7 inches of sign post sticking up out of the sidewalk. Some one is going to trip over it and kill themselves. Haven't you got a brain in your head?

80 Washington Street, Newport tree branches are hanging over onto the sidewalk at about eye level. If you are not paying attention you will put your eye out. The branches need to be trimmed back.

The city can't seem to get the sidewalks cleaned. This being Bellevue Ave in front of the Elks Club where I reported the bent fence sticking out into the sidewalk area.

Damaged street sign from an automobile accident weeks ago. Pole bent all the way over into the side walk area with poor markings. Needs to be taken down. This is at the corner of Church Street and Bellevue Ave. in front of the Reading Room.
