    Recycle not being picked on scheduled days for last 3 cycles (minimum). Example trash day was Thursday 4/22, recycle picked up 4/27. Every other week for at least the last three cycles they do not come on that day, usually next day but maybe not. Would just like to be notified if day of pickup is changing. Also, tried to contact by phone but no answer.

    Traffic backing up at the Fort Story gate at Atlantic Avenue is making it dangerous for those of us who live on the ocean side of Atlantic Ave. to safely exit our streets when turning left onto Atlantic Ave. There is no visibility due to the blocks-long standstill traffic. Likewise, there is an unacceptably long wait to approach our streets (83rd-89th) due to the long line of traffic waiting to enter Fort Story. The City needs to inform the base that it needs to stop impeding residents' ability to access their homes via public roads.

    There have been brush piles here for OVER A MONTH. I reported these and requested that the owner of the noted property be told that they should not place brush piles there as they spill into the roadway and create a traffic hazard as cars have to go around them into the oncoming lane. All you did was put a note on the piles, which they then took from two piles to three, which was then half picked up by the trash truck, leaving the larger branches, which I know will not be accepted due to being over diameter. The trash guys left these literal logs 2 to 3 feet into the roadway. I got so fed up with them sitting like that over a week, that I took and got them out of the roadway onto the berm as best as I could into one pile. THE OWNER NEEDS TO BE MADE AWARE BY MORE THAN A TAG ON THE PILES THAT WHAT HE IS DOING IS NOT ALLOWED! IT IS A DRAINAGE BLOCK, A TRAFFIC HAZARD, AND VERY UNSIGHTLY! Please have someone tag his door. I beg you.

    On Sunday morning, 4/25/21, it was discovered that a dead opossum was on the sidewalk bordering Upton Drive. The location on Upton is behind 2032 Schubert Dive. Turkey vultures were observed this day feeding on the carcass. The dead animal is causing an obstacle for walkers / joggers / dog walkers / bicyclists, and the presence of the vultures may be a motor vehicle hazard, as the carcass is literally 2 feet off of Upton Drive.

    I can recall when this spot of concrete was opened up for a utility repair, it has never been properly filled with concrete or asphalt and has eroded to the depth it is now . Presents a slightly hazardous pothole especially in dark and rainy conditions.
