this request is being resubmitted (Issue # 5122963 dated 11-15-18) because everyone has ignored this problem after my first request, why is it necessary to resubmit, shouldh't someone in authority follow up on all problems to ensure their completeness. this was also part of the original problem-
no one is following up on the task at hand.

Cable was installed in an adjoining home months ago and the cable has still not been buried. cable drapes across my sidewalk and is a trip hazard. these cable companies need to bury cables in a timely manner and stop being negligent in their duties to finish the installation process completely . submitted for your assistance.

downed tree branches on sidewalk on pleasant valley rd just past orillia rd (across the street diagonally from fire station 19 ) due to storm. need wood chipper to remove branches. have been complaining about these trees for years and nothing has been done, trees need to be trimmed or better yet- removed. Need landscaping crew to remove other debris such as leaves and twigs before they find their way into the storm drains.

    update:
Large tree branches have been removed but landscaping crew still needed to clean storm damage.

Sidewalk behind on Pleasant Valley behind Alvena lane is not level and creates a safety/trip hazzard. Uneven sidewalk is believed to be cause by the roots of the trees that were planted by the city of virginia beach. as trees grow, roots grow and are uplifting the sidewalk for a good portion of the block. Sidewalks need to be raised and leveled....or remove trees. The amount of growing space for the planted trees is insufficient. the city should have known this before planting big trees in a small strip of soil. City of Virginia please fix your error.

trees on pleasant valley, behind alvena lane need to be trimmed. The city of vb saw fit to plan these trees which have been nothing but a burden to everyone. tree branches extending into yard, leaves everywhere, tree roots " up-rooting " cement sidewalk causing ponding in the sidewalks and an uneven sidewalk. at minimum, trees need to be trimmed. The city planted them, they should maintain them. They were not here when i bought this house!
