4th Avenue, between Elm and Wood, is one way. Since the weather got warmer, we have had as a regular (early evening, and weekends) occurance a total moron racing his motorcycle down the wrong way. He also has a friend who drives his car down the wrong way. Not sure whether they live on 4th, or are visiting, but they are reckless and a danger, and an easy ticket for the police to write. Since it is a blind curve at the half-way point heading correctly, the potential for an automobile to be involved is pretty high, too. I worry because at the end of the block where they enter illegally, we have teens, kids, pets and some disabled folk, and I don't want to see my neighbors get hurt, or the pets. Around 8-ish seems to be the time frame for "Speed racer" to show up. It seems to be a nightly happening, not a once in a while thing, (not that that makes it any better). I have lived two plus years on the street, and only entered from the wrong way twice---when we had massive snow, and the other end was blocked by vehicles. No excuse in fine weather! AND SPEEDING IS JUST PLAIN WRONG---TOO NARROW AND TOTALLY UNSAFE DUE TO KIDS PLAYING, ETC.

An almost nightly happening, some reckless fool races his bike, and sometimes his friend follows in a car, down the one way street, the wrong way. Since there is a bend 1/2 way down the street from the entryway, this creates a blind spot for anyone driving down the street correctly, and the potential for a serious accident. Also, with children, pets and elderly/disable residents, there is the question of speeding in general, and whether someone is able to be alert to the cyclist coming at them from the wrong direction, thus another potential danger. (Never mind area pets!) It happens almost every evening, especially on the weekends, around 8 ish...And whoever the guilty party is, they seem to stop midway down the block. I worry about this because with the potholes on our street, we already have the obstacle course challenge, and now we have the kamikaze cyclist added on.
