On Lassiter Mill Rd between Lakestone Dr. and Lassiter Summit Ct, there is a painted yellow "median". However, when traffic gets backed up on Lassiter Mill because of the light at Currituck Drive at North Hills, people drive right over the yellow median to advance to the left turning lane. It is a major hazard for the residents of Lassiter Summit Ct, as often cars in the right hand lane will stop to give the cars leaving Lassiter Summit Ct an opening to go left, especially if they're just sitting waiting on the light to turn green. One young adult on the street got t-boned a few years ago because of the drivers ignoring the painted median.

A poured concrete median would be aesthetically pleasing, much like the ones previously poured on Currituck Dr. and would keep the drivers from cutting up across the yellow lines to "make the light" at Currituck.
