This is hilarious. 1). It is leaves. 2). Right up the road others are putting car parts in the woods and 3) this guy has been taking care of that area of the park for over 20 years. You should get to know your neighbors before you post ridiculous things like this.

thank you both for pointing out the factual explanation to someone who appears to be new to the neighborhood. Little did I know that inadvertently scattering a few leaves on the grass while just "dusting" off the street to make the corner a little more presentable would be so egregious. (I guess that any of the countless vehicles that pass by each day doing the same thing are guilty too).
Unfortunately, I was unable to totally finish my routine cleanup of the planter strip until a part for my mower arrived today, but now that it's done hopefully it looks like everyone has come to expect.
