perhaps the pavilion needs to be used users with differing interests more regularly it was nice when it was ice skating ring had large fire pit in the center were people gathered for warmth .. some how maybe skateboarders are picking up on it.. perhaps light lot sage to release all that old energy ... they think it belongs to them solely there was a old 1779 Westville battle cannon just up the left bank on Whalley ave may disclose the history that took place there defending new haven from the British so they would not cover the wooden west bridge bring some reverence that it deserves at the same time find out what happen to that cannon which was in the battle ,,historical relic missing ?

I’d love to crown a skater as “skatepark ambassador” but I think that flies in the face of the typically rebellious sk8 dude. There has to be a skater with a sense of pride and w some leadership skills....anyone have ideas?

This really angers me. With all the other work that needs to be done in the park, with the budget constraints we are under, the City needs to devote its precious resources to this -cleaning up after a bunch of disrespectful @334####! I pay taxes and contribute to FOEP. Put up security cameras and arrest the next person who does this. That's the community solution that needs to happen.
