The traffic engineering, or lack thereof, at the corner of General Booth and Oceana Blvd. needs attention. Ever since the Dunkin' Doughnuts was opened, there have been frequent backups caused by customers turning into their lot. Because of the way the store entrance is situated, and the lack of turn lane leading into the lot, vehicles in the right hand turn land leading from General Booth onto Oceana Blvd. are brought to a standstill and often block the intersection. This creates several problems and puts drivers at risk as they try to navigate around the congestion. I've meant to write this complaint for as long as the store has been open, but am always in traffic and it leaves my mind until I see it the next time (which is often). Please, please... do something to alleviate this situation and put some additional safeguards in place to ensure that these kinds of engineering errors don't occur in the future. I know we have amazingly talented traffic engineers working for the City, and I'm sure they can come up with a way to mitigate this dangerous and aggravating situation.
