Your service request has been investigated. A work order has been created to video the 24" storm drainage pipes from the storm inlet on the east corner of Avalon Woods Court to the storm inlet across from the Fiona Lane intersection. This video inspection should determine what additional work can be scheduled for any and all cave-ins including the one previously repaired at the end of Avalon Woods Circle.

Upon review of the video inspection of the entire sections of pipe on Avalon Woods Drive from Fiona Lane to Avalon Woods Court, it was determined that the only defect was found at the place where the original cave-in repair was made. A work order has been created to dig up the asphalt patch and repair the pipe joint again. It appears that my curb and drive way are effected by this damaged storm drain.
My driveway has settled so much our cars bottom out every time we pull in or out of it.

I would suggest that you add your address to your post. This way an inspector can come out and meet with you.

This issue has gotten worse and I have again reported it to the city of Virginia Beach. Now there is air bubbles coming up on both sides of the road as well as the cracks in the assault.

We apologize for the delay in getting back to you but please be reminded that a work order is in the system to repair the cave-in at the intersection. That message was sent through SeeClickFix on 10/31/2019. Unfortunately due to our work backlog, the timeline for repair is approximately 12 months. In the meantime, anytime before the actual repair work is started our dispatch crew can come out do emergency repairs as necessary if the cave-in itself gets worse and causes a driving or trip hazard.
