In the past few days, the ACUA has prepped two new trenches for connection to the gas collection system. This, coupled with colder temperatures and winds from the north and northwest, was most likely source of odor in your neighborhood.

On August 6th, the two landfill gas collection trenches were connected to the landfill gas collection and control system. Now that the trenches have been connected the issue should subside.
