The City of Virginia Beach has resolved this issue

This is not resolved. In looking at photos my neighbors posted from the week before when I was out of town, flooding occurred. Two weeks in a row major flooding on Presidential caused damage to property and impassable roads with refuse from overturned garbage cans. Look at the photos. Look at the frequency of reports. This is not a closed issue and hasn’t been resolved for the 17 years, yes years, I’ve lived here. The drainage ditch that runs behind the homes in Presidential needs to be dredged. It needs to be unblocked. It needs to happen before the next storm. Now!

Will the drainage ditch that runs parallel to Presidential Blvd be cleared of debris? In at least 17 years the city has never cleared this ditch. Isn’t that where the water is supposed to flow? It can’t because it isn’t clear or maintained.
