I live a block away and had to close all my windows on 6/13/09 due to the party they had. I called the NHPD @ 7:30pm and was told they already had a few complaints and would send some one out. The loud party continue till 9:46.
I know summer is here and I live in the city an expect noise but when you can hear it over a blockaway...... When is the NHPD going to do something about the noise levels from cars, at parties at all hours of the day and night.

Thanks for your posting. I couldn't agree more. I have had many calls from the area in question regarding loud parties throughout the night to the wee morning hours. The NHPD should do more. I will speak to our District Manager to see what plan of action, if any they have considering the summer months are upon us and it will only get worst unless addressed.

TO: Alderman Rodriguez, I would like to say thank you for your responds here on see click fix to this problem. I can see you are a good man for the job, because not many people would take time on a nice sunday afternoon to respond to his community problems.
I live on Atwater street in the 100's section and Alderwoman Erin Sturgis-Pascale is our alderperson here and she never responds to anything here on see click fix. I have even email her in the past and never got a responds from her. I belive the only part of Alderwoman Erin Sturgis-Pascale ward she is worried about is on Front Street and Grand Ave near Front st. Ever time she is in the paper it always on these two streets. Maybe next time you see her you could remind here that her ward extends past front streeet.
Once again thank you for any help you can give us in Fair Haven with the loud noise.

I have spoken to LT. Casanova and he received voice messages regarding the properties in question in that area (Atwater, Grafton, and Pine Streets) He has already begun addressing the problem. He is in the process of speaking to the landlords in hopes of not just educating them on our city's Noise Ordinance but their tenants as well.
He also noted a few of his officers including him have begun ticketing vehicles who's car music is unbearably loud as well. Seems like their on top of it, lets see how next weekend goes...
