Southern CT Gas's contractor parks their heavy equipment on the street overnight. The large vehicles block sightless and should not be allowed to park in residential neighborhoods. United Illuminating's contractors park their trucks in private parking lots. SCGs contractors should as well. They are a safety issue when parked on residential streets.

Thank you for reporting the site to the Town.
We will be dispatched our inspector to the site this morning to evaluate the area. It appears to contractor is parking their equipment to the side of the road as part of an open construction project at the end of the day. The Police Department has an office on duty to monitor.
We will continue to monitor the construction which has been going on since last fall.
