Agreed, even my 12 year old son pointed it out to me as we walked by one day. It appears to be ready to fall at anytime.

To report a telephone pole down or cell phone tower down,
call 1-800-VERIZON, then #2 for REPAIR, and report the incident.
You will need to know the area code and first 3 digits
of a local phone number, so that they can zero in on the problem area.
Verizon will post the information on an emergency listing,
so other carriers will also be made aware of the emergency situation. (mb)

I disagree, Philly 311 is wrong on this. Verizon doesn't own the utility poles. They are called utility poles because they are owned by a utility...in this case it's PECO. Peco's wires are at the top of these poles, Verizon and Comcast just rent from them to hang their wires. Also I called Verizon and #2 is for spanish customers. Please Philly 311 don't ruin this site by posting false information.

The electric company (PECO) maintains utility poles in Phila. this pole is listing close to 15 degrees and should be replaced.

The City of Philadelphia is not responsible for power poles. Please contact Verizon or Peco.

PECO has been repeatedly contacted about this and there has not been any action. My first call went into them back in July.

What kind of city is this when calls go unanswered to a utility company?
